WHO AM I?

Matt Wolfe is the Vice President of Communications at Greater New Orleans, Inc. In this role, he maintains control over print and digital marketing materials for Greater New Orleans, Inc., manages press relations, and leads initiatives to brand the region as an ideal business location.

Matt also leads the organization’s technology activities including the active recruitment of technology companies to the area. This work also involves media outreach on behalf of the organization, securing over 450 annual media appearances for GNO, Inc. initiatives.

He has managed several major initiatives, including workforce recruitment and relocation, water management and coastal restoration, conference planning, investor relations, and business attraction. Matt is an Emmy and Telly award winner and have served on the New Orleans Super Bowl XLVII Host Committee, the Katrina 10 PR Council, the 2017 NBA All Star Game Communications Team, and the 2022 Final Four PR Committee.

Before shifting to economic development, Matt earned 11 years of experience in traditional journalism, with roles in broadcast television and print newspapers, where he managed content for multiple websites and storytelling projects while covering significant news stories and major events.

He is a native New Orleanian who returned home in 2010 after living in Shreveport and California for nearly two decades. Matt lives in Lakeview with his wife, two dogs, and cat.
